Challenges for the future
The Group actively contributes to the creation of a circular economy as an alternative renewable source. It wants to be a protagonist in the energy transition process, promoting an increasing use of renewable sources to power district heating plants thus eliminating the use of fossil fuel. The group's agenda includes carrying out an investment to convert, through revamping, those power plants not still fuelled by biomass to other renewable sources to bring to completion the decarbonisation process. District heating is an innovative technology that stands in the market as a viable solution in the energy transition process for achieving the 2030 and 2050 climate targets.

Cogeninfra Heat is the district heating division of the Cogeninfra Group. The latter, was born from the shared vision of a team of experts, with over fifteen years of experience in the fields of district heating and energy efficiency, along with a prestigious international infrastructure investment fund.
Together they created a platform capable of aggregating more territorial businesses to consolidate the fragmented Italian energy market and create a new and competitive player at national and international level.
